Administrative Assistant (Toimistosihteeri)
Location: Espoo (In-person)
Commitment: Part-time (2 days / week)
Start Date: August or September 2026
Spectacular AI is currently a small, highly technical team specializing in drone navigation technology. As we grow, we need a reliable part-time Administrative Assistant to help the management with essential paperwork such as invoicing, time sheets, receipts, and potentially participate in other business functions such as customer support.
Core Responsibilities
- Finance & Accounting: Sending out invoices to customers, processing receipts and bills in Procountor, and keeping track of expenses.
- HR Support: Managing staff benefits (like lunch vouchers), keeping track of holidays and sick leaves, and reporting these to our payroll service.
- General Help: Assisting with document management, travel bookings, meeting arrangements, and occasional customer support tasks as needed.

Requirements
- Computer Skills: You are comfortable using a laptop and basic tools like email, Google Docs, Excel, Slack, video calls, and administrative web services (for example, Procountor)
- Fluent in English and Finnish.

- Earlier experience or education (AMK, BSc, or MSc) in a relevant field like business, HR, or accounting. Especially prior experience in similar roles.
- A proactive attitude — you enjoy keeping things organized and helping out where needed.
- Technical abilities: good computer skills (better than the minimum required level) and general interest in technology are counted as a plus.
Senior Embedded Software Engineer (C++)
Together with our engineering team, you will implement and optimize real-time navigation software for resource-constrained ARM platforms, integrating it with flight controller hardware, camera pipelines, and sensor data. Additionally, you will help improve our testing, continuous integration, build systems, and SDK packaging, as well as streamline our overall release and deployment pipelines.
Requirements
- Expert-level proficiency in C++.
- Experience in embedded software and ARM platforms.
- Good Python programming skills and proficiency with Git, Linux and CMake.
Ideal Extras
The following skills, qualifications and experience are not mandatory but highly valued
- A completed MSc or higher degree in a relevant STEM field (e.g., Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics).
- Linux server administration and company IT systems.
- Experience with libraries such as Eigen, Ceres, GTSAM, g2o, or OpenCV
- Embedded camera systems, sensors, or electronic/mechanical engineering.
- Domain knowledge: Aviation, UAVs, Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
Computer Vision Engineer
Working alongside our team, you will help bridge the gap between academic breakthroughs and robust production code. This role is an ideal fit if you possess a strong theoretical understanding of modern computer vision methods paired with solid programming skills. Areas of interest include:
- SLAM, sensor fusion, photogrammetry, and visual localization
- VLMs, multimodal foundation models, and novel view synthesis
- Guidance, navigation and control
Requirements
- A completed MSc or higher degree in a relevant STEM field (e.g., Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics).
- Good Python programming skills and at least basic knowledge of Git and Linux.
- Hands-on experience with VIO, SLAM, INS or photogrammetry, or modern computer vision methods such as Dust3r, VGGT, and ACE Zero is considered a significant advantage.
- You should be capable of contributing to the field at a level consistent with top-tier research publications
Ideal Extras
The following skills, qualifications and experience are not mandatory but highly valued
- A PhD degree
- Software engineering best practices, CI/CD, build systems, or C++ skills.
- Experience with libraries such as Eigen, Ceres, GTSAM, g2o, or OpenCV
- Embedded camera systems, sensors, or electronic/mechanical engineering.
- Domain knowledge: Aviation, UAVs, Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
Requirements for All Applicants
- Fluency in English.
- Readiness to relocate to the Helsinki region, Finland for full-time, in-person work in our Espoo office.
- Legal right to work in the EU. Visa sponsorships for non-EU applicants are not available.
